A Day At The Beach

My Family had a friend from out of town visiting who had never been to the beach so we decided to go on a short trip and after being in San Francisco for a day we went and had some fun in the sun at Santa Cruz.  I have lived in Northern CA all of my life and had never been there so I was excited to go, Allen had to work so he couldn't come but it was a fun trip!

We started the day at a beach by the boardwalk and went out to this small light house

The fog finally burned off and we met up with everyone at National Bridges state Park, it was beautiful there, but the water was still a bit too cold for me!

GRADUATION!!!!!!!!

After all of the homework assignments, group projects, presentations, textbooks, late night cramming sessions, exams, and mid-term and finals weeks, the day I never thought would come came.... GRADUATION!!!  It actually came faster than I realized and I still don't know if that is a good or bas thing. I know I will not miss all of the things listed above, but I will miss being at school there, the spirit I felt, the people I met, my professors, craigos (if you've been there, you know why I included it in the things I will miss), the beautiful area, and all of the joyful and trying experiances I had there.  BYU-id was the best place for me to be the past four years of my life, I learned a lot about myself and grew in so many ways.  I'm so grateful for the opportunity I had to go to school there and for the many blessings I received along the way.  For graduation I was so lucky to have so many people come and support me; most of my family came along with Allen's parents and sisters and we had a good time.

Now we are back in California and "real life" or something like that is starting!  Allen has been working a lot, and I have been job hunting; which I have found, is just as tiring and stressful as working!  I had an interview yesterday and one tomorrow, so fingers are crossed that something works out!  Other than that we are enjoying the end of the summer and spending time with friends and family...life is good! :)

The End of Rexburg

I can't believe how fast the past four years have gone by. I've had some of the best times of my life in Rexburg while going to school at BYU-ID and there are definitely some things I will miss about this special place. These are just a few pictures of the last few days of my life in Rexburg!

One of my favorite things about BYU-Id was being able to participate in the competitive sports program. I love soccer, and I had so much fun playing here and getting to know the girls on the teams I played on. Here is my team from this past spring semester, the LADY BRUINS.....also known as the CHAMPIONS! We won the league with a perfect record, it was a lot of fun and I got a free champion T-shirt out of it!

I have met so many great people here and have made some friendships that I know will last for a VERY long time.  I got to go to lunch with two of my former roommates and good friends; it was fun to catch up and see them one last time.

My sister Aubrey was staying with us for the last week we were in Rexburg so we took her on our last adventure in the Idaho Mountains and went to Cave Falls.  I will definately miss all of the fun outdoor activites Idaho has to offer in such beautiful places!

Lastly, we had to say good-bye to our first home together.  We are excited to be back in California, and I think I am the only one that will truly miss Idaho but it was a fun experiance and I wouldn't change it for the world.
