This weekend we decided to enjoy the sun and spend some time in the mountains so we went camping with our friends Scott and Jenna at Warm River. It was so nice to be outside and we had so much fun enjoying the river and camping in general.
Playing in the river
The boys put up quite a fight with the fire but it all worked out! haha
It was Beautiful and fun to be in the mountains for a while!
Going in to school in Idaho does have its pluses! We are so close to so many great outdoor activities and beautiful places. We decided to take a drive up to Mesa Falls to have a picnic the other day and we had a great time being outside and enjoying the view!

I didn't mention in the previous post that Allen's Birthday was a million times better because we took a last minute and surprise trip home! With it being hi birthday and Memorial Day, we had a long weekend, so we decided to get out of town and unexpectedly show up at home in California. Our families were shocked, especially when they woke up to us pounding on the door late at night. The trip was well worth it and we had a blast in the warm sun!
The Family at Allen's Birthday Dinner
While were there, my side of the family took a trip to our Families cabin near Tahoe. It was so pretty up there and we got to go on a long bike ride around that Lake. It was a lot of fun to be with everyone and we're glad we didn't miss out!
Ready to ride

Beautiful Lake Tahoe!
We also had a lot of fun just hanging out
All of my sisters and I
The boys decided to go on a fishing trip after our bike ride. They were not so lucky with the fish, but did manage to catch a few crawdads. I thought it was disgusting because if you know me, I don't like anything that ever lived in water, but they cooked them up and ate them. Yuck! I guess they liked it though and they had a good time.
Allen with the brother-in laws
We had a great trip home, and now it's time to buckle down and make it through the second half of the semester. Next time we go to California, it will be for good!
Well it finally warmed up in Rexburg, but the weather still hasn't really decided if it is summer yet, so it keeps changing from sunny to windy/snowy/rainy. We were lucky and had a warm Saturday so we took advantage of it and went to have a BBQ at the park!

By the river!
Love corn on the cob!!
Hopefully we will get some warm weather again so we can have some more fun outside!
Allen and I met when we were very young, and started dating in high school. Allen went on his mission to Denver, Co in 2007 while I attended BYU-I. We wrote the whole two years, then he came home in the summer of 2009. When he came home it was hard to believe that two years had come and gone, but we picked up right where we left off and quickly knew that we wanted to spend forever together (I think we both knew long before that though). After a long time coming, we were married on December 30, 2009 in the Sacramento Ca Temple for time and all eternity!
