Winter Winter Winter!!

For those of you that have not had the opportunity to enjoy a Rexburg winter, you might not be aware of how frigidly cold it is!!!!!  Well, even though Allen and I can't wait to get back to the California sun, we've been enjoying the snow as much as we can.
For our Valentines Date, we went night skiing at Kelly Canyon.  It was Al's first time snowboarding, and although I am no expert I taught him all I know.  It was a ton of fun but we were both sore for a few days after!

We recently purchased "THE SNAKE!!!!"  It isn't much, but this piece of blue plastic goes fast on the sledding hill!

Our Short but sweet honeymoon

After we got marrried we didn't have much time, so we made a short trip to Sonoma, Ca just north of San Fransisco for our honeymoon.  Thanks to Holly and Eric, we stayed in a wonderful spa resort and it was a blast!

I have no idea what Allen is doing, but this was part of the room.

The rolling green hills were so pretty, but this is the only picture I got.

We drove to the ocean one day, and it was raining, but I love the beach so it was fun just to be there. Plus...

...I got salt water taffy!!!! (you probably can't tell but I'm holding the bag with excitement!)

It was a nice and relaxing trip and I want to go back!!!!!

Our First Home!

This is for you Mom...A tour of our first home!  We are all settled in and getting very comfortable in our first place together. So...here it is!
This is our Living room
Our new comfy couches!
The Kitchen!  Since both of us like to cook, we don't eat out much and have a fun time making dinner together!
Our Office/ Storage room!
The bedroom!
Our HUGE bed that literally takes up most of the bedroom, but we love it!

We are happy in our home and are grateful for all the help we had to make it our own!!!

We Now have a blog!

OK, I finally did it, I made a blog.  I have no real idea how to do this all but I guess I will get the hang of it.  Allen and I just got married and are now living in Rexburg, both attending BYU-Idaho, we love it, but can't wait for the snow to melt and summer to come!
